[https://people.downergroup.co.nz/downer-benefits/] Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity  Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll play a critical role in inspecting network assets, identifying defects, and supporting maintenance planning to ensure compliance, safety, and value-driven outcomes across the network. Key responsibilities: Network inspection & defect management * Conduct regular inspections of roads and corridor assets to identify and prioritise defects * Recommend cost-effective treatment solutions and timeframes * Monitor defect performance and ensure compliance with contract standards * Work closely with delivery teams to support maintenance planning and execution * Participate in night inspections and emergency response activities when required Asset data & systems (RAMM) * Accurately capture and manage defect data using RAMM/Pocket RAMM * Maintain high-quality asset data in line with client (NZTA/Council) requirements * Support field data collection and ensure accuracy and completeness of records Contract performance & planning * Provide insights and data to support maintenance programmes and optimisation * Identify risks, variations, and improvement opportunities * Deliver timely reporting on network performance and issues   Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills You’ll be a motivated professional who thrives in a field-based role and enjoys problem-solving in a practical environment.
