REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive experience in Network Engineering, including network security (CISCO & Firewalls)
- Desire to work with AWS and Azure.
- Automation and Scripting Experience essential, infrastructure as code preferred.
- Proven experience in managing network configurations and familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
- A strong desire to assist other teams and provide the best solutions to meet their needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
One of V2’s customers is seeking a highly skilled Network Lead to join their team. The customer is looking to modernise their infrastructure and platform with a Cloud and DevOps approach. This is an exceptional chance for someone experienced in network engineering to learn and grow their platform engineering skills. You will be collaborating with a talented and diverse group of professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the support and expertise of V2 by your side.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shift from reactive break-fix to proactive monitoring to improve issue detection and resolution times.
- Streamline and automate device onboarding, application/user onboarding, and support processes.
- Oversee network configuration management with a strong focus on recently implemented SD-WAN.
- Mature cloud networking practices and establish a robust platform engineering approach for network products, emphasising cloud and self-service solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to helping other teams by choosing the right solutions, not just the latest technologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing their technical skills and fostering a collaborative working environment
- Communicating progress and working with various stakeholders, 3rd party organisations and business units to drive the required outcomes
