Description Full Time History: Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state of the art 18 bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20 and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital. POSITION PURPOSE: Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Information Technology, The Network Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable network performance to support business operations, including critical systems, applications, and communications. The position may also oversee network projects, vendors, and junior IT staff. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and Experience with firewalls, routing and switching, and VoIP technologies. Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory, Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. This position will also serve as a front-line member in the IT Department to resolve end users' issues. Must have a working knowledge of IT support and help desk structure. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent experience. Licenses/Certificates: CCNA/CCNP, CompTia Network+ or equivalent preferred but not required. Experience: 3-7 years of network related experience preferred, experience in healthcare preferred. Knowledge of healthcare security requirements and HIPAA safeguards preferred.
