Hours: Full Time, Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years in entrepreneurship, business operations, or small business service roles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications and ability to learn new systems.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about helping entrepreneurs succeed and building strong small business communities? The WV SBDC is hiring a Network Navigator to connect entrepreneurs and small business owners across West Virginia with the right services, programs, and partners to support their growth.
As a key team member, you’ll manage client referrals, oversee inquiry platforms like the AskMe Line, build collaborative relationships with resource partners, and support the statewide entrepreneurship ecosystem through WV BusinessLink.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the AskMe Line and respond to inquiries from business owners and startups.
• Refer clients to appropriate WV SBDC services and WV BusinessLink resource partners.
• Track client referrals, outcomes, and partner engagement using database tools.
• Build relationships with resource partners, agencies, and partner organizations.
• Assist with training materials, resource platform content, and outreach events.
• Help maintain website listings, internal knowledge systems, and evaluation surveys.
