NETWORK OPERATIONS ANALYST:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Network Operations Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

NETWORK OPERATIONS ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Network Operations Analyst will provide senior-level support for the Bank Group’s network infrastructure, focusing on incident management and support for LAN, MAN, WAN, and other network components. The role involves reacting to network anomalies and ensuring service availability.

NETWORK OPERATIONS ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • CCNP (R&S) or CCNA certification with relevant experience.
  • Cisco routing and switching experience.
  • Troubleshooting experience and break fixes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with network environments (TCP/IP, Cisco routers/switches).
  • Strong understanding of switching and routing technologies.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic techniques and monitoring tools.

NETWORK OPERATIONS ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with Cisco Viptela SDWAN/Aruba SDWAN.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Experience with F5 load balancers.
  • Experience with VMware NSX.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day deliverables during shifts under the direction of the NOC Shift Leader.
  • Provide strong technical support and ensure NOC processes are followed.
  • Collaborate with the Shift Leader to manage work intake and delivery.
  • Engage in high-priority incidents and provide support.
  • Support incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Manage incident queue and prioritize incidents.
  • Create and peer-review documentation for support and training.
