Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Network Operations Specialist who serves as the critical bridge between our Operations and Networking teams. You will manage network monitoring, support projects end-to-end, engage with commercial and technical stakeholders, and drive initiatives with limited supervision—all while ensuring seamless communication at stand‑up meetings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as primary liaison between Operations and Network Engineering: triage incidents, align priorities, drive resolution, escalate as needed
  • Monitor and maintain network performance (routers, switches, radio equipment), ensuring compliance with SLAs
  • Communicate network status clearly to Operations, Account Managers, and Sales—translating technical insights into business impacts
  • Manage technical projects end-to-end: define scope, build schedules, exceed deadlines, track milestones
  • Take initiative on process improvements, documentation updates, and small-scale automation
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation (diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, change logs)
  • Participate actively in Operations and Network Operations daily stand‑ups, ensuring visibility of duties, blockers, and planned tasks
  • Work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and manage your own workload proactively
