Job Overview - 6+ Month Contract
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Operations Manager to oversee our network operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in network operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Pay: $85.00-$95.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the network operations team to ensure optimal performance of all network systems.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
  • Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance security and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new network solutions that meet business needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments of network infrastructure to identify areas for improvement or upgrades.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of networking equipment and services.
  • Prepare reports on network performance metrics and present findings to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
