About the role As a Network Operations Project Manager for Maersk E-Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of medium-to-high complexity implementations and initiatives with a moderate geographic scope across North America. These projects will have a significant impact on business operations and customer outcomes You will be responsible for facilitating a seamless transition from strategic roadmap to operational execution, ensuring business objectives are met and operational readiness is achieved. In addition, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives across the operations team, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance performance, and drive efficiency. This role also involves managing cross-functional initiatives that support and enable operational excellence in North America, while supporting existing account reviews to uncover areas for improvement and long-term value creation. What you’ll be doing Lead and manage the comprehensive implementation of new operations/network projects to the Maersk eCommerce network following the formal handover from Network Strategy or Product teams, ensuring continuous communication throughout the project to align with business objectives. Engage with key stakeholders in Pricing, Procurement, Product, Strategy, Platform, Engineering, and Operations to validate the scope and expectations Define and monitor project milestones, go/no-go decision points, and readiness criteria. Provide daily guidance to cross-functional implementation teams and support units, sharing best practices with various stakeholders concerning project deliverables. Ensure clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status and any potential issues. Identify and manage risks while proactively addressing obstacles that may arise. Facilitate a seamless transition to operations following the go-live phase and during the ramp-up period. Establish success criteria and ensure a smooth project closure. Collaborate with the Process team to finalize and test Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support the implementation of the operational excellence strategy by identifying and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the initiatives pursued. Lead the execution of improvement initiatives related to productivity, customer retention, and customer satisfaction To succeed in this role, we believe that you can offer Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in logistics operations Strong project management experience; PMP or similar preferred. Proficient in MS Project or other Project Management Software. Knowledge of IT/EDI and API integrations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage cross-functional teams. Self-starter with drive, initiative, and attention to detail.
