Join our Team About the opportunity: We are looking for a Network Operations Specialist. This job role is responsible for the coordination, support, management and execution of reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. The Network Operations Specialist is responsible for the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive activities, to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. What you will do: Event Management: Monitor, detect, classify, escalate, and coordinate events to prevent service degradation; drive timely response and resolution in line with SLAs. Incident Management: Lead end-to-end incident lifecycle from detection through remediation and post-incident reviews; ensure root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions are identified and tracked. Remote Site Access Control: Manage secure remote access to sites and systems for troubleshooting, change execution, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies and audit requirements. Legal Request Execution: Receive, validate, and fulfill legal or regulatory data requests, ensuring timely and compliant delivery while maintaining evidence trails. Core and RAN Operations: Monitor and support core network and radio access network components; coordinate maintenance windows, upgrades, and contingency planning to maintain service quality. Assurance Support Activities: Provide proactive and reactive assurance tasks, including alarm correlation, performance monitoring, and validation of service health across networks and platforms. Triage and Alarm Correlation for RAN, Core and EMS: Quickly triage alarms, perform correlation across domains (RAN, Core, EMS), determine priority, and drive appropriate remediation actions with cross-functional teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with network engineering, service delivery, security, and vendors to ensure consistent incident handling, change control, and service restoration. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate incident records, change logs, and operational reports; communicate status to stakeholders and customers; participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement. Compliance and Process Adherence: Follow internal procedures and industry standards; ensure that operational activities meet quality, security, and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement: Identify process bottlenecks, tool gaps, or automation opportunities; contribute to troubleshooting playbooks, runbooks, and automation initiatives to improve MTTR and SLA compliance. The skills you bring: Education: Bachelor-level degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) or equivalent. Experience: 3-5 years deploying system tests and leading testing teams. Domain expertise: RAN, Core, Cloud, BSS, OSS, or similar telecom domains. Core competencies: knowledge sharing and collaboration, problem solving and creative thinking, effective communication, analytical approach to problems, delivering results and meeting customer expectations. Telecom breadth: total experience of at least 4 years in the telecom industry, with experience in operations and configuration management within a customer service delivery organization or telecom operators; strong understanding of multi-vendor network implementation and integration; ability to interpret quality indicators and drive corrective actions; KPI knowledge including formulae, degradation, and troubleshooting.
