Description

Engineering and lifecycle management of the network elements as well as the management of the suppliers in the GPON/FFTx Fixed Access domain. Participate in the choice and control of suppliers and take over the technical contract conditions. Creation of planning, implementation, and installation specifications as well as the product-related configuration for connectivity. Create interference suppression and optimization rules for connectivity and control the system acceptance and introduction and carry them out successfully. Lifecycle management of fixed access xPON/FTTx platforms (OLT, L2 ONT, EMS and SDN). Define the rules for capacity management of fixed access xPON/FTTH platforms to guarantee the best performance to customers. Coordination of implementation for new projects impacted xPON/FTTHx platforms. Implementation of new services for Consumer, Enterprise (i.e. new speeds or fixed services over XGS-PON) and Mobile Backhauling over xPON/FTTx technology. Support testing activities for new SW upgrades, bug fixing, security patches, etc. High- and Low-Level Design (HLD & LLD) for new services and/or platforms. Automation of network activities in fixed access xPON/FTTx platforms by use of scripting or RPA technics. Experience in handling with protocols and interfaces, especially southbound interfaces between OSS and SDN-C (e.g. XML, JSON, SOAP, RESTconf, Netconf, YANG, Openflow, Kafka, Corba etc.).
