PURPOSE

• Act as a gateway between Enterprise/ Consumer/ Wholesale business units and Engineering Teams for all network coverage enquiries and service delivery relating to fixed, transmission and mobile coverage.
• Responsible for planning and evaluating the budget for the network coverage rollout based on organization’s/ customer’s requirements
• Responsible for planning, deploying, maintaining and optimizing fibre optics telecommunications network.
• Attend site meetings with government agencies, private building developers and property management to coordinate and manage contractors for fibre cable installation and diversion.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Enterprise, Consumer and Wholesale Business Units for all network coverage enquiries and service delivery relating to fixed, transmission and mobile coverage.
• Work with the Enterprise, Consumer and Wholesale Business Units in maintaining service excellence and managing customer expectations.
• Project Management of approved business cases rollout and act as a single-point-of-contact (SPOC) between Enterprise/ Consumer/ Wholesale and Engineering Teams on network rollout status.
• Coordinate with various Networks teams to support business initiatives and resolve customers’ complaints., ensuring timely completion of network installation works to meet both organizational and customer service delivery timelines.
• To perform fibre network design tasks in KML (Keyhole Markup Language) format to support corporate data services and engineering circuits over transmission and fibre network.
• Review of work processes and procedures for better enhancement and improvement
• Assist the Engineering/ Planning Team in infrastructure planning of pipeline connection and fibre deployments to support both Enterprise and Consumer business needs
• Assist the Engineering/ Planning Team in site surveys and supervise contractors to execute all fibre cable works in the area under his control in accordance with all established operation procedures and engineering instructions
• Assist in updating and maintaining telecommunication facility building plans and accurately mapping them into the network database. Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS
  Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Computer Science
  2 – 3 years’ experience in Telecom Infrastructure network environments or a related field work.
  Familiar with AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tools for network design and mapping
  Familiar with Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA)’s Code of Practice for Info-communication Facilities in Buildings (COPIF)
  Experience in project management and collaborating across teams.
  Strong teamwork, communication, and service-oriented mindset
  Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to various work environments and customer requirements.
