We are seeking an experienced and innovative Network Architect specializing in Branch/Campus Networking with additional focus on core networking, cloud networking and security. This critical role requires both business and technical expertise in areas such as SD-WAN, unified SASE, Zero Trust, Segment Routing and Routed Optical Networks from industry leaders such as Cisco, HPE (Juniper and Aruba) and Arista. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge in architecting and implementing secure and scalable enterprise connectivity solutions, incorporating Zero-Trust principles to seamlessly integrate networks ranging from a single-campus deployment to globally distributed branches with secure resilient connectivity to cloud and private compute resources. As an influential thought leader, you'll actively shape enterprise networking strategies, support sophisticated pre-sales engineering, develop compelling technical and business presentations for executive-level audiences (CXO), and contribute to industry discussions on emerging trends and technologies.   Key Responsibilities * Enterprise Network Architecture & Strategy: Develop and deliver innovative, scalable, and secure networking solutions, leveraging advanced technologies such as SD-WAN, unified SASE, VXLAN, EVPN, and cloud-based platforms. * Zero-Trust Security Integration: Design and implement Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strategies across large-scale enterprise environments, from single-campus to globally distributed branch infrastructures. * Pre-Sales & Client Engagement: Provide pre-sales technical leadership by developing tailored reference architectures, building technical roadmaps and business use cases, and engaging closely with client architects and C-suite decision-makers. * Thought Leadership: Represent our organization externally by speaking at premier industry events and contributing to relevant publications, blogs, and conferences. * Executive Communication: Craft and deliver clear, persuasive content for executive stakeholders, effectively translating complex technical topics into strategic business value. * Cross-functional Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner effectively with internal teams to guide strategic decisions on next-generation technologies, mentor peers, and promote a culture of continuous innovation. * End-to-End Network Convergence: Drive alignment with IP and optical networking, helping customers navigate the integration of core routing, optical transport (Converged Optical), and cloud connectivity to achieve scalable, cost-efficient, and resilient architectures. Facilitate executive-level discussions on network transformation, ensuring optical transport is positioned as a strategic enabler for next-generation networking. Required Qualifications * 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking. * 10+ years of experience specifically in enterprise network architecture design and transformation. * 5+ years of pre-sales experience in enterprise networking. * Expertise and experience with Cisco solutions. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM-related disciplines or equivalent professional experience. * Demonstrable experience designing and deploying advanced Zero-Trust networking architectures across campus, branch, and cloud environments. * Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical topics to executive stakeholders. * Demonstrated industry thought leadership, including published contributions, blogs, whitepapers, or technical presentations. * Strong self-starter, well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively. * Ability and willingness to travel 30% or more. Desired Qualifications * Professional experience as an Enterprise Architect within a Fortune 100 company. * Deep technical expertise in routing and data center networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, DMVPN, VXLAN, EVPN, and Segment Routing. * Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE (Route/Switch, Security domains). * Practical experience with network automation tools and practices (e.g., Python scripting, Ansible, Terraform, automation frameworks). * In-depth experience with campus and branch networking including Switching, Wi-Fi, IoT, IT/OT convergence, and network programmability. * A foundational understanding of converged optical networking, optical transport, and Routed Optical Networking (RON), with a willingness to grow expertise in DWDM, ROADM, and coherent optics. Ability to engage in high-level discussions on the business impact of IP and optical convergence, transport automation, and multi-layer networking strategies. * A foundational understanding of Data Center Networking including Data Center Interconnect (DCI). * Understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices in enterprise network operations. * Public speaking experience at prominent industry forums and technical conferences such as Cisco Live, Aruba Atmosphere, NANOG, ONUG, Network Field Day, or similar venues. * Published technical content (articles, blogs, books, or presentations). * Certification or knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices. * Experience with multimedia content creation tools for video/audio recording and editing.
