Key Qualification/Experience required:

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for skilled Network Security Architect who will meet the increasing demands for the design and implementation of secure Network infrastructure and solutions . You will have strong technical experience and will have worked in a Network Design role previously . This is a cross functional role requiring the individual to work seamlessly and collaboratively across Enterprise IT Services (EITS), Group Technology and the business to achieve the required outcomes. You will be working as part of the Network and Cybersecurity Design team and will take the lead in designing and implementing solutions . You will have an in-depth understanding and awareness of the regulatory environment, IT and security controls, PSD2/PSD3, DORA & PCI-DSS. This will be a six-month contract initially and based out of Dublin or Cork . This will be a hybrid role with expectation to be a few days on-site per week.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement secure and resilient solution designs that meet the needs of the business and enabling the client’s strategic objectives
  • Deliver the effective design, implementation and maintenance of the in-scope technologies to protect and enable the client
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the network and network security within client and its configuration to enable the integration of new services and progressive simplification
  • Drive the simplification of the managed environment seeking to minimise complexity while maintaining industry leading solutions and configurations
  • Drive the automation first strategy within EITS eliminating repetitive tasks and enabling the focus on higher value activities
  • Enable the development of secure cloud connectivity and integration solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with the relevant third parties that support this function.
