We’re seeking a Network Security Engineer for our Network security team in Honeywell in Brno.
You will focus on handling the daily operations of all services relating to perimeter security, and all interdependent servers and infrastructure within all global data centres and cloud subscriptions (firewall and proxy services). This position will function as a technical resource to assist in proactive problem identification and solution proposal and will also handle service requests from customers.
This is a hybrid role with flexible work from home model.

Key responsibilities

  • Performing the installation and configuration of hardware/software, the management of infrastructure projects and components, and the monitoring and support of these services (including all operational processes, procedures and diagrams).
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve the infrastructure and documenting all activities.
  • Daily interaction with customers and other IT personnel
  • Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation

Key skills and qualifications

  • Educational background with a focus on Technology or IT
  • 5 years direct experience in Information Technology - firewall, proxy and network operations/installation and 3 years datacentre firewall design/deployment experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with enterprise public (Azure / AWS) or Private (NSX) cloud platforms
  • Experience with Zscaler and/or Zero-Trust solutions
