They are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team and support their advanced infrastructure and security operations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, Zscaler, and ITSM processes. This is a great chance to join a global team, expand your network security skills, and work with cutting-edge tools in a balanced, no-travel environment.
This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite in the Denton, TX area and 2 days remote.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, Cisco routers and switches, Spanning Tree, and VTP
• Proficient in Cisco Firewalls, IDS, Firepower Management Console
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and FortiManager
• Working knowledge of SD-WAN, Dynamic Multipoint VPN
• Familiar with Zscaler (Private and Internet Access), Infoblox DHCP/DNS/IP management
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Prime, DNAC, and wireless controllers (IOS and AireOS)
• Proficient in using ServiceNow and understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge)
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and documentation skills
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role

• Familiarity with scripting (Python preferred)

• 70% Hands-on technical tasks (monitoring, troubleshooting, improving operations)
