Ergo is seeking Senior Network Security Engineer for a permanent position based in any of our Irish offices ( Dublin / Cork / Limerick / Belfast ).
Joining an established and industry leading team you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of network and security services both within Ergo and across its client environments.

Expertise in Firewalls is required with an emphasis on Checkpoint and Fortinet . Certification is required.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced technical support to external clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of network and security issues.
  • Provide expert-level assistance to field engineers during on-site engagements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for all support-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors to expedite issue resolution and maintain service continuity.
  • Utilize internal systems for accurate tracking, logging, and management of support tickets.
  • Employ network management and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve network performance issues.
  • Participate in on-site activities as required, including system assessments and deployments.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both Ergo’s NOC infrastructure and customer-managed network services.
  • Lead the delivery of customer-facing network and security projects, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
  • Contribute to pre-sales efforts by providing technical input, solution design, and customer engagement support.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive customer documentation, including runbooks and operational guides.
  • Create and maintain technology roadmaps to guide clients’ strategic infrastructure planning.
  • Draft functional requirements and technical specification documents for internal and client-facing initiatives.
