SUMMARY:

The Network Security Engineer will ensure the integrity and confidentiality of network systems and data by developing and implementing security measures. This position will be responsible for monitoring network traffic, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security breaches, and maintaining firewall and encryption protocols. The Network Security Engineer must stay updated with the latest security trends and best practices to protect against emerging threats, as safety and soundness are cornerstones of the Fidelity Bank promise.

TIME: DESCRIPTION:

30% Monitor the network environment to identify suspicious activity and ensure that vulnerabilities are responded to in a timely manner.
30% Assist with the design, implementation and maintenance of a security framework, policies, process and tools. Assist with internal and external audits.
20% Participate in regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
5% Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures and reporting
5% Manage user access permissions and authentication permissions.
5% Develop and execute a response to security incidents and breaches.
5% Employ Right By You behaviors in providing technical support to Bank associates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of IT Network and Security experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrable, expert level skills in:
  • TCP’IP networking
  • MPLS and SD WAN
  • Fortinet and SonicWALL firewalls
  • Proficiency with security-related tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security concepts and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of/experience with:
  • Windows server and workstation networking
  • SQL/SQL Server

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cyber security-related designation preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
  • Ability to manage, create, and maintain databases in Microsoft SQL Server, with some data warehousing and data information.
  • Experience with the below software and tools, preferred:
  • Sentinel One
  • Arctic Wolf
  • Silver Sky
  • Auruba Central
  • Microsoft 365 Identity, Security
