SUMMARY:

Come be a part of the vibrant Internal IT division of our client. Equipped with state-of-the-art tools and pioneering technologies, they empower their teams for success, ensuring swift access to critical information. As a Security & Network Engineer (AC245) within their Infrastructure team, your role will encompass the following responsibilities and more:
Your role:
Efficiently manage daily tasks including changes, incidents, and troubleshooting.
Install, configure, and maintain Firewalls, Proxies, SIEM, Switches for DC/campus, along with management tools.
Oversee and monitor the entirety of their security infrastructure, covering Mail GTW, Firewalls, ReverseProxy, Load balancers, IPS/IDS, and WAF.
Manage and monitor the entire network infrastructure including switches, routers, access points, WLC, and ISL.
Proactively ensure optimal levels of security and system availability.
Monitor KPIs and uphold predefined SLAs.
Conduct reporting, develop procedures, and maintain comprehensive documentation for effective environment management.
Ensure systems’ compliance with standard security policies.
Monitor system/application backups and redundancy strategies.
Develop and maintain PowerShell, Bash scripts, and device-specific commands.
Provide third-level support for solutions and troubleshoot applications.
Your profile:
Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Possess relevant work experience in security and network administration.
Demonstrate proficiency in administering firewalls (PaloAlto, CheckPoint, Fortinet) and network equipment (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI).
Familiarity with Netskope Proxy, QRadar, and Nginx is advantageous.
Fluent in both French and English with strong writing skills in both languages.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to provide maintenance outside standard working hours.
Possess a rigorous, structured work methodology, and a knack for synthesis.
Keen interest in exploring new technologies and staying abreast of the latest developments.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
Exhibit originality, creativity, curiosity, and a visionary mindset, capable of proposing innovative solutions.
