Do you consider yourself as a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with a focus on firewall management and network security policy orchestration? Are you familiar in working closely with cross-functional teams to design, enforce, and optimize network security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational security objectives? Responsibilities: Manage and optimize firewall configurations and security policies to ensure consistent, effective protection across the organization’s network infrastructure on Group level. Regularly audit and review firewall rules to minimize risks and ensure adherence to security best practices. Understand, implement and develop both existing and new network security principles that streamline security operations, automate policy management, and ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements Engineer, implement and operate various technologies related to secure network access, including remote access (both traditional and VPN) and network traffic filtering (ingress and egress) Act as a subject matter expert for network security matters on Group level. Implement and finetune groupwise cyber security policies related to the following: network segmentation, Zero Trust/microsegmentation, DNS filtering, malware filtering, Remote access, Data Loss Protection, security relevant IP services Work closely with network engineers, cyber security architects, and IT teams to align network security measures with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration of security practices across the infrastructure. Requirements: University/College degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in the information technology industry covering network operations, VPN, internet filtering preferably in a multinational environment Hands-on experience and/or industry recognized certifications from these vendors: Tufin, Cisco, Checkpoint, Zscaler, etc. Ability to develop, audit and optimize firewall rule sets, ensuring that policies are efficient and secure Understanding of network segmentation, creating and enforcing access control policies, and securing communication across different network zones Experience in automating firewall policy changes, security rule validation, and configuration management using orchestration tools Proficiency in diagnosing network security issues, such as traffic disruptions, firewall misconfigurations, and policy violations. Network troubleshooting Awareness of the latest trends in network security, firewall technologies, and industry standards. The ability to continuously update knowledge of the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
