OVERVIEW:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Network Analyst who will oversee our networking operations, lead technical innovation, and ensure our infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with our service and project teams, advise clients, and be the subject matter expert for Fortinet solutions and all aspects of networking.
This is a people role, your personal attributes such as personality, attitude and drive are key. Training for our systems and the range of technologies will be provided.

SKILLS:

· Deep understanding of Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, etc.).
· Strong proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
· Advanced firewall, routing, and switching configuration skills.
· Proficient in Unifi, Meraki, and similar.
· Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
· Strong security mindset with awareness of modern cyber threats and mitigations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
· Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
· Full clean UK driving license.
· Invested in their personal development.
Experience Required
· 3-5 years in a senior networking role, ideally within an MSP or IT services environment.
· Proven track record with Fortinet technologies (certifications highly desirable – NSE4/NSE5/NSE7).
· Experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade network solutions.
· Experience with DNS management and domain administration, including record configuration and troubleshooting.
· Demonstrated leadership in technical teams.
· Background in vendor and stakeholder management.
· Exposure to cloud networking (Azure, AWS) desirable.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Network Design & Architecture: Plan, design, and implement robust network solutions for client and internal projects.
Fortinet Expertise: Configure, manage, and optimise Fortinet security appliances including forecasting for growth plans.
Technical Leadership: Act as the senior technical authority, guiding our service technicians and influencing technical decisions across the business.
Troubleshooting & Support: Lead resolution of complex network incidents and escalations.
Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain network security best practices in line with industry standards and client requirements.
Strategic Planning: Develop and deliver the company’s technology roadmap in alignment with business goals.
Vendor Management: Liaise with technology partners and vendors to ensure optimal solutions are in place and are fit for purpose.
Client Engagement: Consult with clients to assess needs, propose solutions, and deliver strategic IT advice.
Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records.
Development: Personal completion of industry and partner certification to ensure knowledge remains to date.
