Why This Role Matters This position will be a member of the Global IT Infrastructure Service Organization responsible for professional and technical work related to Network and Telecommunications Services. This is an advanced service supporting role primarily responsible for the transitional and operational tasks and duties in support of Network Service implementations that span across a broad range of Global Network Services and Solutions (LocalArea Network/ Wireless, Wide Area Network, Datacenter Network, Internet Edge and Application Networking Services) What You’ll Do You will be responsible for network solutions or technologies: Plan – Document – Implement – Configure – Debug – Improve Manage small to medium Networking projects within area of specialization Provides technical expertise to cross functional project teams Develop detailed designs, business cases, and communicate detailed architecture recommendations needed to support business critical systems and operations Lead problem resolution and documentation Troubleshoot intermediate to advanced problems, escalating to upper level associates as appropriate Work with/across global/regional/local IT teams Supporting Datacenter Luxemburg and remote locations primary in EMEA also in ASIA Be a part of global network team Participate in an Emergency On-Call Rotation for after-hours and weekend support. Flexible schedules and24x7 support availability (generally scheduled in advance) may be required as necessary to support thetechnical needs of our customers (once or twice a year) What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information System, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or related discipline is required or in lieu of degree 5 years of IT experience. Fluency in English is required, and any other language is an asset. Advanced level of technical knowledge: Cisco catalyst switches and Routers Cisco ACI and NXOS Palo Alto or/and any other firewalls vendor (e.g. Fortinet, Checkpoint, cisco ASA/ Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), Juniper) Routing Protocol: OSPF – must have and BGP (as a plus) Certification in any of these technologies is an asset (cisco, palo alto) Ability to understand the business needs and translate them in adequate IT solutions Good communication skills – speech adapted to the audience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good team player and able to work autonomously in a multi-cultural environment We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
