Description

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong hands-on expertise in Azure networking services, cloud migration, and Citrix NetScaler. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize Azure network architectures while leading migration initiatives from on-premises to Azure. Key Responsibilities Act as the technical lead for Azure networking and migration projects. Design and implement Azure network architecture, including: Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSG). Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancers (LB). ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and hybrid connectivity solutions. Configure and optimize traffic routing, security, and performance. Perform Azure Migrate assessments for network dependencies and migration planning. Execute migration activities, ensuring secure and efficient cut-over. Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues during and after migration. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to validate network design. Provide best practices for governance, security, and compliance. Manage and integrate Citrix NetScaler for load balancing and application delivery in hybrid or Azure environments. Configure Azure Application Gateway for: Balancing incoming traffic across backend pools. HTTPS offloading for SSL termination. URL rewrites and routing rules for application traffic optimization. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with: Azure Application Gateway (traffic balancing, HTTPS offloading, URL rewrites). Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, NSG, VNet/Subnet design. Hybrid connectivity (on-prem to Azure). Azure Migrate for network discovery and migration planning. Citrix NetScaler configuration and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of: Network security, routing, and segmentation in Azure. High availability and disaster recovery for network components. Experience in large-scale migration projects involving network re-architecture. Ability to create network migration runbooks and execute them effectively. Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform). Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and network monitoring tools.
