This is a unique opportunity to join our Network Solution team, as a Solution Architect of Network solutions for DXC’s key clients in Federal Government, Finance and Mining. As the successful candidate you will be someone who has experience in the design and deployment of enterprise networking technologies looking to step up to solution architecture, or will already performing in a solutioning or consulting role today. You will lead the solution development of technology-based pursuits, perform technical oversight of during solution execution and perform consulting engagements of technology strategies. The environment includes client technology managers, project management, architects and technology SME’s with whom you will interface to represent DXC’s networking innovation agenda. This role will be working with DXC government clients and it is highly desirable that you are working from DXC’s Adelaide office complex with our dedicated account teams. To hold Australian citizenship is essential. Experience: Minimum 5+ years performing professional services in network design and engineering or as a solution architect Minimum 3+ years working closely with Account Management Proven presentation and communication skills - essential Demonstrated experience in providing thought leadership and technical authority in Network technology domain through understanding of the relevant products, services across multiple product vendors Demonstrated experience in producing high quality SOW and solutions Demonstrated experience presenting to client stakeholders Demonstrated experience in complex technical solution selling and/or consultative selling and delivery. Demonstrated experience working with networking OEM vendors and distributors in the preparation of BOMs and quotes Demonstrated presales knowledge of Network solutions across multiple vendors (Cisco, HPE/Aruba, Arista, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet) Responsibilities: Develop and be accountable for: proposals and statements of work, competitive costing, commercial proposal integration, and business case alignment of solutions, which are of high quality, fit-for-purpose, and meet customers’ specifications, strategic direction, technology context, and business requirements. Development of technology roadmaps and future-state architectures aligned to clients’ business strategy. – Desirable Assist in handover of solution to delivery by providing technical oversight of solution delivery and consulting services during startup, deliver and transition to operations stages of projects, and ongoing high-level escalations. Development of solutions that allow our customers to yield the highest demonstrable value to achieve their business needs.
