Job Description Administer, monitor and troubleshoot enterprise IP network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance and security Manage and maintain routing and switching environments, including TCP/IP networking, IP routing and Ethernet switching technologies Administer wired and wireless network access solutions, including WiFi and 802.1X/EAP-based authentication mechanisms Configure, operate and troubleshoot network-level encryption technologies, including IPsec, IKE and DMVPN Manage and maintain Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls and Panorama centralized management platform Administer and support Infoblox DDI services, including DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM) Manage and maintain Cisco Nexus and Cisco Catalyst switching environments Perform physical and logical network configuration changes, including installation and removal of network devices, cabling and connectivity components Administer and maintain structured network cabling systems Configure and support network security controls, including firewalls, stateful and stateless traffic filtering, access control policies and secure communications Ensure reliable operation of core network services such as DNS, DHCP and NTP Provide 2nd line support for network and infrastructure-related incidents and service requests Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, authentication and security-related issues across enterprise environments Support endpoint network configuration and connectivity across Windows, Linux and network operating system platforms Create, maintain and update technical documentation, operating procedures and network-related guides Identify, recommend and implement improvements to network performance, resilience, scalability and security Collaborate with internal teams, end users and external vendors to ensure efficient service delivery Promote a proactive, customer-oriented and team-focused approach to infrastructure operations Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar network administration or network engineering role Very good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and IP routing Very good understanding of Ethernet switching technologies Good knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP and NTP Good understanding of wired and wireless access technologies, including WiFi and 802.1X/EAP Good understanding of application-layer authentication and encryption technologies, including HTTPS, SSL/TLS, PKI and X.509 certificates Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless infrastructure and network security devices Hands-on experience administering large-scale enterprise network environments Good understanding of endpoint network configuration across Windows, Linux and network operating systems Practical experience with stateful and stateless traffic filtering Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting network-level encryption technologies such as IPsec, IKE and DMVPN Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama management platform Hands-on experience administering Infoblox DDI solutions Hands-on experience managing Cisco Nexus and Cisco Catalyst switches Hands-on experience supporting Secunet SINAbox encryption solutions Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to adapt to new technologies High level of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail Professional attitude, diplomacy and customer-service orientation Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Ability to work under pressure in operational environments Proactive mindset with strong initiative and continuous improvement focus Willingness to travel occasionally across Europe (up to approximately 15 trips per year) Valid driving license (Category B) Ability and willingness to drive rental vehicles, including abroad Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
