Come join our team of passionate staff who empower local families to overcome homelessness and housing insecurity. Family Promise of Greater Wichita is currently in search of a part-time Network Support Coordinator (25 hours per week)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of administrative support experience; Volunteer management experience, Event planning experience
  • Proficient in Google Suite Programs.
  • Data entry
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with community partners and volunteers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Recruit new community partners, with a focus on faith-based congregations and volunteers
  • Welcome and onboard new partners, making sure they have the training and tools they need to succeed.
  • Act as the main contact for shelter program partners and volunteers.
  • Offer ongoing support, check-ins, and resources to help partners feel confident and connected.
  • Encourage strong, respectful relationships that reflect our mission and values.
  • Help volunteers and partners feel appreciated and recognized for their contributions.
  • Support clear communication and collaboration across all community partners.
  • Ensure a consistent, caring experience for families served by our programs.
  • Represent the organization with warmth and professionalism in all partner interactions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF ALL STAFF:

  • Meet with community partners in collaboration with the Director of Development to build relationships that can benefit the families we serve. Participate in community booths as requested or needed.
  • Interact with guest families, other staff, volunteers, board members, community partners, and donors in a respectful and appropriate way at all times.
  • Attend staff meetings and maintain effective communication with Direct Supervisor and other staff in order to coordinate needs and duties.
  • Answer the phones which may include completing phone screens from families requesting services, providing program information, fielding potential donations and presentation requests, and transferring calls to the correct contact person.
  • Answer the door at the Day House to accept donations, providing tours as requested, and greeting volunteer groups. Coordinating with other staff for maximum availability at Day House, as well as covering days off and vacations.
  • Account for all spending and staying within stated budget parameters.
  • Fulfill on-call and emergency needs as part of staff rotational duties which may include work on weekends and/or in the evenings.
  • Capacity to learn and use a variety of technology platforms.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
