Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network System Administrator to join a National Security Contract located in Fort Novosel, AL through 100% full onsite presence. The Juniper-focused Network System Administrator will join a high-performing network team overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of critical infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in troubleshooting, securing and upgrading network systems while leading Juniper efforts to elevate performance. You’ll ensure seamless connectivity and drive cutting-edge technology enhancements.

Responsibilities of the Network System Administrator include:

  • Oversee daily network/server operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of system software
  • Serve as the Juniper specialist, leading efforts to enhance network performance and implement advanced configurations
  • Ensure network reliability, proactively identify issues and deploy solutions to minimize downtime
  • Plan and implement patches, updates, and new applications, while developing a disaster recovery & security strategy
  • Research and recommend new technologies to improve network efficiency, scalability, and security

Qualifications of the Network System Administrator include:

  • 4+ years of experience in networking/networking management or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • IAT2: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
  • Cisco Certifications: 350-801-CLCOR, Cisco Certified Specialist-Collaboration Core, 300-815 CLACCM, Cisco Certified Specialist, Collaboration Call Control & Mobility Implementation or equivalent
  • Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) or equivalent
  • Active Secret clearance

Compensation for the Network System Administrator includes:

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - 75,000 depending on experience
