Job Description As part of the Generic Systems and Infrastructure (GSI) Division of EUMETSAT, you will have the following responsibilities: Liaison and prime Point of Contact (PoC) to network customers, responsible for: Understanding and ownership of the customer/user/business needs and constraints; Ownership of network performance and service quality of the solutions delivered to the customer; Ownership of customer expectation, buy-in and satisfaction; Deployment and Roll-out coordinator, responsible for: Seamless and minimised-impact roll-out; Ownership of risk identification and mitigation; Roll-out and delivery according to customer expectation and plan; Ownership of roll-out problem recording and resolution. Interface and liaison with Service Providers and suppliers as indicated by EUMETSAT. Liaison and point of relay between the customers and the INS team, responsible for: Representing the customer needs and constraints through participation in Comms team activities; Coordinating the activities of providing the customer solution with the relevant Comms team activities of developing and operating the network infrastructure and services. Qualifications You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience: University degree in Information Technology or a relevant discipline; 5 years of proven knowledge and hands-on relevant experience; Extensive knowledge and experience of DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM) solutions e.g. BIND, Bluecat Integrity or similar; Extensive knowledge and experience of Cisco ISE or similar, RADIUS/TACACS+ and integration with enterprise authentication mechanisms e.g. SAML, Kerberos, Entra ID, AD; Demonstrable experience of SNMP, Syslog, Netflow and building custom monitoring solutions using Solarwinds and Netbrain (or similar); Skills in SQL, scripting, and integrating monitoring dashboards; Experience designing and operating enterprise VPN solutions and ZTNA .g. Cisco Anyconnect, Palo Alto GlobalProtect; Strong Linux administration skills, and Net DevOps experience and skills; Strong knowledge of Enterprise Wi-Fi and 802.1X; Scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, PowerShell) to streamline operations; Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and network security fundamentals; Knowledge of PKI, X.509 certificates and certificate lifecycle management; Ability to document and share knowledge with colleagues.
