Description

Description:
ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top-Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Senior-level Network Systems Engineer.
We are seeking a Network Systems Engineer to join the N2W Active IT and project team, providing critical expertise in systems engineering, network architecture, and project management. This role supports the strategic goals of the N2W IT Program by analyzing, designing, testing, and evaluating LAN/WAN technologies that underpin the delivery of N2W Active IT architecture components.
The Network Systems Engineer will assist the Government in defining and refining the overall LAN/WAN design and requirements for N2W, conducting technical assessments, and supporting network operations across N2W facilities. The engineer will lead and contribute to technical studies for the N2W Program Office, serving as a key point of contact for related efforts and collaborating with other teams to perform research and develop requirements for emerging capabilities.
As part of the N2W team, the engineer will assess future IT technologies—including secure wireless, zero-client environments, multi-level security, IoT, and cloud solutions—while evaluating their impact on business processes and building business cases for their implementation within NGA.
This position requires close collaboration with both contractor and government personnel to resolve technical challenges in a highly integrated, multi-contractor environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with diverse teams and interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Math / Science / Engineering or IT related degree.
  • 12 years of technical experience is required, to include:
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience developing networking technologies such as routing, circuit switching, packet switching, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), and encapsulation protocols, as well as their accompanying international, government, or industry standards.
  • 4 years of IT planning/scheduling/requirements development experience supporting a large and complex IT program similar to the N2W effort.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing DoD/IC secure wireless strategies and policies, such as Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC)

  • Plan and execute LAN/WAN operations, technical assessments, and field surveys using COTS, GOTS, and custom-developed tools. Document network tool designs and integration strategies. Evaluate LAN/WAN technologies and related network engineering efforts, developing mitigation strategies and exception packages as needed.
  • Engage with NGA subject matter experts and industry partners to ensure alignment with best practices. Deliver full lifecycle project management support, including the execution of technical studies, participation in major reviews, evaluation of hardware/software solutions, and development of actionable recommendations.
