Description
The Network Technician performs routine functions supporting CentraCare's enterprise network infrastructure with installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of network hardware and software. Activities include ensuring uptime, performance, and resource availability of the network and network services; monitoring network performance; identifying and resolving network problems; upgrading network hardware and software equipment; ensuring the quality, accuracy and security of the network. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud or Willmar Day shift | Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $27.25 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $27.25 - $40.88 per hour Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications: Associate Degree in Computer Science or in equivalent subject; work experience can be substituted in lieu of education One of the following within 2 years of employment: Cisco CCT CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Cisco Networking Conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures with a variety of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN, wireless and Firewall network operations Strong troubleshooting, analytic, diagnostic and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize work assignments and/or problem solutions to endure completion within established timeframes Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills required CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
