Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced network administrator (m/f/d) for a client project who will significantly contribute to the stability and further development of the IT infrastructure. After a short on-site training period in Bautzen, the position can be performed remotely up to 100%.

Your tasks:

Support, optimization and monitoring of LAN and WAN networks
Analysis and resolution of complex network and system malfunctions
Implementation and administration of switches, routers, firewalls and F5 load balancers
Further development of routing/switching environments and modern data center architectures
Use of current technologies such as Cisco ACI, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VRF and VLAN
Ensuring network security through appropriate standards and measures
User support for technical issues
Precise documentation of configurations and processes

Profile

Experience in the administration and optimization of complex network infrastructures
Excellent knowledge of the TCP/IP stack as well as routing and switching technologies.
Experience in handling firewalls, switching/routing fabrics and F5 load balancers
Safe handling of network operating systems such as Cisco IOS-XE, NX-OS, IOS-XR or Arista EOS
Solid expertise in data center and enterprise technologies (Cisco ACI, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF etc.)
Ability to efficiently implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices
Knowledge of system administration and technical support
Advantageous: Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, experience with automation (Ansible, Python) or tools such as GitHub, Grafana, Prometheus
