Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced leader to head up our Network Test & Measurement teams. Reporting to the Head of Transmission and Services, this role is all about ensuring the safe, reliable, and high-quality delivery of electrical energy to our customers. You’ll be at the forefront of specialised network and equipment testing and calibration services and play a key role in keeping the lights on—literally!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading a team of experts in cable fault detection, high voltage testing, infrared scanning, oil analysis, and more.
  • Managing testing facilities and labs across multiple sites, ensuring they run safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards.
  • Maintaining NATA accreditation and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Providing technical advice and strategic input on workforce planning and resource allocation.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships, handling customer feedback, and resolving issues.
  • Overseeing budgets and aligning operations with financial, safety, and delivery targets.
  • Identifying performance gaps and implementing improvements.
  • Mitigating legal, safety, environmental, and financial risks.
