One area, many facets: The backbone of our IT infrastructure. We are looking for a skilled network engineer to manage and optimize our on-premise network infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our enterprise networks while supporting our ongoing journey toward cloud integration. This is the job:

  • You work in a critical role ensuring seamless network operations across the organization. Therefore, you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are eager to help customers across the Group get the most from the network for their applications.
  • Maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting the company’s on-premise wired and wireless network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance is your specialty,
  • You plan and execute network updates, upgrades, and expansions to meet business needs.
  • You monitor and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal requirements.
  • That is why you collaborate closely with the IT and Security teams to ensure secure stable network operations and a smooth transition to hybrid environments.

This is what you bring to the table:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in designing, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level on-premise network infrastructure and understand spoken German well.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and architectures, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and L2/L3 networking are your USP.
  • You bring expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches (e.g., Fortinet, Aruba).
  • You are also experienced with network services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, NTP, Radius) and impress with hands-on experience in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • You are familiar with VPNs, IPsec tunnels, and access controls and bring a strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Basic exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is prefered.
