Company Description The Wix Kickstart Program in Tel Aviv and Be’er Sheva is offering a unique opportunity to join Wix Engineering. As part of the program, you'll work alongside some of the leading engineers in the tech industry. After the 4-5 weeks training in Tel Aviv, you'll continue working as a developer at Wix, getting real production tasks for the most exciting engineering challenges we're solving, and enjoy a fun, collaborative working environment. In the first few weeks of the training, we'll cover various Frontend or Backend, fundamental topics, according to your assigned team. After training, our Development teams will help you dive deeper into the Wix Engineering infrastructure, mentoring you on development tools, processes, products, and components. Then, you'll start coding for millions of users! Job Description As part of the Perimeter team, you'll manage all incoming and outgoing traffic within Wix's infrastructure, ensuring security and efficiency. In your day-to-day, you will: • Quickly identify and resolve infrastructural problems related to networking and security stacks • Ensure that network services across the company are effective and secure • Design and implement the next generation of tools for better efficiency *** At Wix, we believe our best work happens together. Qualifications • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in networking, with a strong understanding of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), VPN/GRE tunneling, DNS, and experience with network security and load balancers • Proficiency with networking equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Arista, or open-source alternatives • Solid knowledge of Linux system internals and familiarity with Windows and MacOS environments, including scripting in Bash/sh and programming in any language • Troubleshoot complex issues across physical, cloud, and overlay technologies • Understanding DDoS technologies such as attack types, detection, and analysis • Automate network operations and deployment pipelines using CI/CD and scripting tools • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve reliability, observability, and deployment velocity • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools • Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent (Juniper, Arista, etc.) and experience with monitoring tools – an advantage Additional Information We are Wix's Infrastructure Group.
