$140,700 - $178,392 annually
Job Description
The Biosciences and Biotechnology Division within the Physical and Life Sciences Directorate LLNL is seeking to fill a position for a dedicated and hardworking Research Scientist with a background in neurobehavior with demonstrated experience in working with animals, setting up and executing neurobehavioral assessments and analyzing samples with standard molecular biology approaches. In this position, you will work with our team to conduct animal biology research, contributing to our understanding of tissue and cell level effects of physiological insults for mission relevant programs. Your role will involve working on defined research projects, where you will be expected to demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and a keen attention to detail within a multidisciplinary team of scientists. This position is in the Human Health Sciences Group in the Biosciences and Biotechnology Division.
This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS WE DESIRE

  • Experience with in vivo cardiac assessments.
  • Experience with preparation of multi-omic samples.
