NEUROSURGERY – NEUROCRITICAL CARE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT FORT WORTH, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an opening for a Physician Assistant experienced in Neurosurgery and/or Neurocritical Care. Practice at the full scope of your training and license by being a part of the Neurocritical care team as Neurosurgical call support. PA is responsible for incoming neurosurgical patients through ED/Trauma and support of in-house Neurosurgical patients overnight. Position Details: Full time; Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekdays/weekends Consults & Follow ups for Neurosurgery ICU patients plus inpatient rounding – management of Neurosurgery patients as part of the Neurocritical Care Team Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME Malpractice and 401K Assist caring for a variety of neurological disorders Provide expert neurological care and innovative techniques to find the best solution for each patient with diverse disorders that attack the brain or spine Will support our neurosurgical on-call team as part of our Neurocritical Care Group Requirements Needed to Apply: Active Texas license Physician Assistant Board Certification Experience in critical care or neurosurgery area; ICU & CCU required. Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program Interest and experience as a Neurocritical Care APP are highly encouraged to apply The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The PA’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
Responsibilities
