Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

The postholder will be required to participate in the delivery of specialist Neurodevelopmental assessments and advice for children and young people (CYP) on the Neurodevelopmental assessment pathway.
The main areas of focus will be to participate in the provision of high standard, specialist assessments and advice to CYP including those with highly complex presentations, and contribute to Multi-professional diagnosis of Autism and other co-morbid conditions including ADHD, Developmental Language disorder, Developmental Coordination disorder and Intellectual difficulties. This also involves specialist liaison with partners across the system in order to gather vital assessment information, as well as to inform the wider offer of support for CYP.
