Neurodiagnostic Tech 1 Job Responsibilities: * Documents, eliminates or takes proper measures to monitor the artifact. * Schedules appointments, greets patients/families and provides testing instructions. * Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients of all ages in specific services or units. * Cleans, adjusts and makes minor repairs to testing equipment or reports issues to appropriate personnel promptly. Additional Qualifications: * Certification - Basic Life Support; Eligible for and successful completion of the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation EEG board examination with the achievement as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T), must be obtained within two years of hire * Licensure - None required * Experience - None required * Education - High School diploma or equivalent We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider. The technologist will be responsible for documenting, eliminating, or monitoring artifacts during procedures, as well as scheduling appointments and providing necessary testing instructions to patients and families. They must also maintain testing equipment by cleaning, adjusting, and performing minor repairs or reporting issues promptly.
