Description Neurology Opening – Jackson, Mississippi Outpatient-Focused Practice | Shared Call | Up to $315K + Loan Repayment A leading integrated healthcare system in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist to join a collaborative and growing neurology program focused on comprehensive outpatient neurological care. Position Highlights Monday-Friday schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Primarily outpatient Neurology practice Shared call rotation for inpatient consults and urgent procedures Strong nursing and administrative support Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment Opportunity to participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives Stable, mission-driven healthcare setting Compensation & Benefits Compensation $280,000 – $315,000 salary Additional incentives available Potential recruitment, relocation, and retention bonuses Comprehensive Benefits Package Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment assistance Health, dental, and vision insurance Federal retirement programs with matching contributions Generous PTO and paid holidays CME support Malpractice coverage included Responsibilities Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and follow-up visits Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions, including: Migraines Seizure disorders Neuropathy Neurovascular disease Chronic neurological illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic testing including: EEG EMG/NCS Imaging studies Laboratory testing Provide patient counseling, medication management, and treatment planning Perform neurological procedures as credentialed, including: Botox injections Lumbar punctures EMG/NCS EEG interpretation Collaborate with internal medicine, pain management, behavioral health, and rehabilitation teams Participate in clinic optimization and quality-focused initiatives Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency Board Certified in Neurology Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license DEA registration BLS certification required Preferred Experience 3+ years of independent Neurology practice experience Why Jackson, Mississippi?
