If you're looking for autonomy, peer support, and a practice infrastructure that actually lets you practice medicine, this is it. Position Highlights * Outpatient-only practice — no hospital call, no inpatient rounding * Monday–Friday clinic schedule with genuine work-life balance * 15–20 patients per day — sustainable volume in a focused subspecialty setting * Collaborative neuroscience team including stroke, epilepsy, and functional neurology physicians * 3 advanced practice providers (APPs) integrated into the practice * Co-located inpatient and outpatient spine, brain, and vascular neurosurgery team * Established referral infrastructure to support subspecialty growth * Physician-led organization — your clinical voice carries weight * In-house marketing and business development support to help grow your patient base * Full administrative support for billing, credentialing, and HR What We Offer * Competitive compensation package * CME allowance and paid time off * Malpractice insurance provided * Health, dental, and life insurance * 401(k) with employer matching * Deferred compensation program * Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology * Fellowship training in Movement Disorders (completed or in progress) * Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure in Arizona Why Tucson Tucson punches well above its weight — a UNESCO-designated City of Gastronomy with a culinary and arts scene that surprises first-time visitors, all set against one of the most dramatic desert landscapes in the country. With 350-plus days of sunshine, you're never far from world-class hiking, cycling, and golf, while the University of Arizona anchors a culture of research, education, and spirited college-town energy. Housing costs remain well below most major metros, and the city's family-friendly neighborhoods consistently draw physicians looking for quality of life without compromise. Tucson International Airport keeps you connected — but most who land here find fewer reasons to leave. Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
