If you’re looking for a rewarding career, a place to call home, apply with us today Job Description We are seeking a Neuronal Cell Culture Associate with hands-on experience culturing and working with neuronal cells, including primary neurons and iPSC-derived neuronal models. This role is central to supporting neuroscience drug discovery projects, with a focus on executing cell-based assays and maintaining high-quality neuronal cultures. Key Responsibilities Culture and maintain neuronal cells, including primary neuronal cultures and iPSC-derived neurons, using aseptic techniques. Prepare media and reagents for neuronal cell culture and assay workflows. Perform cell-based assays such as immunocytochemistry, calcium imaging, live/dead cell viability assays, and fluorescence microscopy. Support biochemical assays, including ELISA, AlphaScreen, MSD, and SDS-PAGE. Analyze and report experimental data, maintaining accurate documentation in electronic lab notebooks. Ensure compliance with lab safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab environment. Qualifications Required: B.S. in Biological Sciences (e.g., Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology) with 4–6 years of lab experience, including direct experience with neuronal cell culture. Proficiency in handling multiple cell types and conditions simultaneously. Familiarity with cell-based and biochemical assay techniques. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow SOPs. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred: Experience with neuronal differentiation protocols. Background in neurodegenerative disease research (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS). Experience with high content imaging and analysis software (e.g., Harmony, Columbus, ImageJ). Familiarity with automated plate-based instrumentation (e.g., Opera Phenix, Tecan). Experience with transient transfection methods and ELN documentation.
