With therapists, psychiatrists, and PMHNPs with immediate availability and many insurance plans accepted, we are the people’s choice for help with mental health in South Dakota and Iowa, and we have recently expanded to Fargo, ND. MWI seeks to add a neuropsychologist to join our practice to address the growing demand for general neuropsychology services. The clinical practice model is based on the neuropsychologist's interview and interpretation, supported by psychometric-administered testing. We are looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy, and motivated Neuropsychologist interested in serving all ages. Interested candidates must have experience and be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally. Requirements Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments & follow-up assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for individuals with mental health conditions. Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient. Complete full and appropriate documentation to support professional billing for services. Interpret test results to diagnose any health issues and provide feedback to patients. Educate and counsel patients regarding medication compliance. Experience and/or interest in working with Veterans. Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plans. Communicate with, and make appropriate referrals to, PCPs and/or specialists. Provide services at community partnership locations. Maintain required licensure, certifications, and CME credits. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Must be eligible for an active & unrestricted license to practice in North Dakota. Must have completed a doctoral degree from an accredited psychology program. Internship experience in neuropsychology and a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology. Eligibility for or certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Clinical Neuropsychology is strongly preferred. Eligible for credentialing with all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare. Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required. Computer literate and experienced with Electronic Medical Records.
