PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Current student enrolled in one of the following fields: Aerospace/Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotic Engineering, Software Engineering.
  • Experience with Python or another scripting programming language, and C/C++ or another compiled programming language.
  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Git and the Linux Command Line.
  • Experience with modern C++ and Python testing frameworks.
  • Programming project work outside of university is highly desired.
Responsibilities

As a Neutron Flight Software Intern, you will play a critical role in accelerating our development team’s speed and improving the robustness of our codebase. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating New Python Tools:
  • Develop innovative Python tools to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our development team.
  • Improving C++ Codebase Robustness:
  • Contribute to the testing and enhancement of our C++ codebase to ensure high reliability and performance.
  • Creating Data Products:
  • Generate data products from data models and perform post-processing of simulation data to support our mission-critical operations
