Position Summary The New Accounts Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing new customer applications for the Introducing Broker. This entry-level position supports the onboarding process by ensuring account documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with NFA/CFTC requirements. The role emphasizes attention to detail, communication with clients to resolve missing or incomplete information if necessary, and coordination with the Director of New Accounts for escalations. Key Responsibilities Review customer applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Confirm required details such as legal name, address, SSN/Tax ID, date of birth, employment, income/net worth, and trading experience. Verify acknowledgment of risk disclosures (as provided electronically via FCM systems). Perform OFAC and NFA BASIC checks and document findings. Contact clients to resolve deficiencies or request additional information, if necessary. Escalate flagged or borderline applications to the Director of New Accounts. Maintain accurate customer records in compliance with CFTC Rule 1.31. Assist with periodic audits, reviews, and quality control of customer files. Collaborate with the Back Office team to ensure a smooth transition of approved customers into funding/reconciliation. Support testing and adoption of new account review automation tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, finance, or related field). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under deadlines and handle sensitive information responsibly. Basic understanding of futures markets or financial services a plus. Languages: English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred. Additional languages are a plus. Series 3 license to be obtained within 3 months (firm-sponsored). New Hire Base Salary Range $55,000 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
