Description Ted Britt Automotive Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Vehicle Prep and Check-Out Technician to prepare both new and pre-owned vehicles for retail sale and customer delivery. This role is essential in ensuring vehicles meet dealership quality, safety, and presentation standards. Responsibilities Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines. Inspect used vehicles for safety, drivability, cosmetic condition, and retail readiness. Perform light maintenance and minor repairs as assigned. Inspect and verify fluid levels, tire pressures, batteries, and vehicle systems. Install accessories and dealership-installed options as required. Identify and report transportation damage, mechanical issues, or safety concerns. Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and presentation-ready for customer delivery. Maintain accurate inspection and repair order documentation. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic automotive mechanical knowledge required. Previous dealership, inspection, or technician experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
