WORK OPTION: In Office _________________ POSITION SUMMARY The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of NBA China's sponsorship revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, evaluating their feasibility, and developing sales strategies to convert them into valuable partners. The role requires a mix of market understanding, salesmanship, and hands-on operational ability in a highly competitive environment. The candidate will report to the Senior Vice President and be responsible for proactively and aggressively growing NBA China's sponsorship revenue. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development and execution of NBA China's sponsorship strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in the leisure and consumption industry. Identify and pursue new business opportunities drive NBA China's sponsorship revenue growth. Evaluate the feasibility of prospects and formulate effective strategies to convert them into valuable partners in the leisure and consumption industry. Lead and guide a team in developing sales strategies and implementing sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners in the leisure and consumption industry. Develop a profound understanding of China market and keep up-to-date with industry trends to provide relevant insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to new business development and partner management. Develop and manage budgets for new business development and partner management initiatives. Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and progress against targets to senior leadership. Take responsibility for the entire sponsorship sales cycle, from initial contact with the potential sponsor to securing the deal and maintaining relationships after the sale. REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of closing deals and achieving revenue targets. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to guide and motivate a team of sales professionals towards a common goal. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market, including its key players, trends, and cultural nuances. Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and formulate effective sales strategies. Strong experience in sponsorships, with a deep understanding of the sponsorship sales cycle and proven success in securing and managing sponsorship deals. EXPERIENCE NEEDED At least 15 years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, or partner management roles in the leisure and consumption industry or related industries. Proven experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets. Experience leading and managing a team of sales professionals to drive results. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
