POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated New Business Development Manager to spearhead Hillbrush’s new business development strategy in the US market. This is a high-impact role focused exclusively on new business acquisition, market expansion, strategic exhibitions, and revenue growth within the cleaning equipment and hygiene solutions segment. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial hunter with a proven track record of winning new accounts and building pipelines from the ground up. The successful candidate must be willing to travel regularly across the US to engage with new and potential clients, attend industry events, and pursue growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B sales selling to distribution partners and/or retail accounts, specifically in new business development
  • Experience in food processing sales, cleaning equipment, jan/san, or industrial supply sectors highly preferred
  • Proven success in developing new markets and consistently hitting sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of the US market and customer landscape in cleaning or hygiene-related industries
  • Ability to travel nationally for client meetings, trade shows, and events
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and secure new business opportunities, with a primary focus on the food processing sector, alongside jan/san and industrial markets
  • Drive growth of Hillbrush cleaning equipment & hygiene product sales in the US, particularly in food production and processing environments, through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation
  • Identify and attend key trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to build brand presence and generate qualified leads
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; track and report progress using CRM tools
  • Engage with key decision-makers across industries including food processing sector, janitorial, sanitation and industrial
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service) to align sales initiatives and ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide market feedback, trends, and competitor analysis to influence product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
