California Gate and Entry Systems is seeking an experienced motivated professional to join us as our Commercial Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager the Commercial Business Development Account Manager will play a pivotal role in prospecting for and managing key accounts. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales. The ideal candidate will be adept at nurturing relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and exceeding sales targets. The Commercial Business Development Account Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts as well as develop new markets.
  • Understand each account’s immediate and long-term objectives, challenges, and needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all communication with new and assigned accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, with a focus on prospecting for new accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
