We’re looking for a driven and consultative Senior Sales Executive to join our growing Australasian sales team. This role is focused on winning new enterprise and mid-market customers by selling Klipboard’s OnRent Office and OnRent One rental solutions across Australia and New Zealand, with scope to introduce other Klipboard Global products where strategically aligned.

You will play a critical role in driving revenue by:

  • Proactively generating your own leads and building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Working alongside the Australasian sales team to sell rental products to our prospects.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand our reach to other Klipboard products beyond the rental sector.

This is a senior individual contributor role (not people management) and is ideal for someone who thrives in a solution-led sales environment.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record in SaaS, ERP, fintech, or other enterprise software solutions
  • Proven success in new business development and negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of operational management in capital intensive sectors, workflows and contract management, and financial software within ERP environments.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels including C-suite.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing sales cycles of 6–18 months involving complex stakeholder environments.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent CRM platforms.
  • Prior experience selling into the rental sector is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New Business Development

Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract close and onboarding, with a strong focus on acquiring new enterprise customers in the rental and adjacent sectors.

  • Client Engagement

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and position rental solutions as a key enabler for new customers.

  • Sales Execution

Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to full ramp up for new opportunities across Australia and NZ.

  • Consultative Selling

Apply deep industry understanding to design solutions that address operational, compliance, and profitability challenges unique to the equipment hire and rental industry.

  • Territory Planning & Account Strategy

Develop and execute strategic territory plans to prioritise high-value targets and verticals.

Segment the market and tailor outreach strategies to different customer profiles.

  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pipeline activity in CRM.

Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to leadership.

  • Competitive Intelligence

Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to position Klipboard’s solutions effectively.

Share insights with product and marketing teams to refine positioning.

  • Proposal & Tender Management

Lead the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and tender responses for enterprise deals.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure commercial terms are aligned.
