JOB SUMMARY:

Positioned between sales management and the team members, the Team Leader serves both groups to support the company’s overall sales objectives. The Team Leader is to coach and mentor the assigned team members to help increase their sales while continuing to sell at a high level themselves. With a persistent eye on the sales results, the Team Leader is expected to train, develop, and facilitate sales of team members assigned to guarantee that customers are handled effectively and with attention to detail. The expectation is that the sales team leaders will work directly with their respective team members daily. The Team Leader reports directly to the Sales Manager. The Team Lead will direct the team members to attain everyday sales targets and surpass the expectations of customers. It may happen that the Sales Manager’s position may be void in the department that the Team Lead is assigned. When that happens, the Team Leader will be accountable directly to the designated senior position or executive officer.
