Description
Own one or more factory areas for capital equipment, spare parts, and services procurement. Lead capital equipment scheduling, delivery, and purchase order management with suppliers. Manage supplier contract negotiations and ongoing contract administration. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; resolve delivery and supply continuity issues. Drive automation and digital transformation of procurement processes and metrics. Track and report performance using key process indicators; lead continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze and resolve forecast disconnects to meet demand volume and timing. Identify and execute operational expense reduction opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies and departmental procedures. Represent Procurement with a customer-centric approach to issue resolution. Lead supplier QBR documentation and meetings, ensuring alignment with Fab and TD teams. Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field. 0 - 2 years of total experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering or operations (including internships, co-ops, or full-time roles). Demonstrated ability to increase efficiency through the use of AI and automation tools Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft tools; experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) preferred. Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and project leadership (internship/co-op experience may qualify). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated interest in digital transformation, AI, and automation in procurement. Willingness to work extended hours as needed based on business needs
